By Avery Deutsch and directed by Anne Kauffman - A play about the parts of ourselves we banish, and the joy and pain of bringing them into the light.
Mary, a beloved actress in her seventies, is playing a teenager in a big-budget motion-capture film. But, she hasn't been a teenager in a while. Russell, her scene partner, is playing a monster. But, he already spends all day feeling like a monster. Sarah, the PA, is trying her best, but her walkie-talkie is broken. And then there’s David, the director. Gosh, he’s handsome. A play about the parts of ourselves we banish, and the joy and pain of bringing them into the light.
Also on Sunday, April 26th at Northern Stage.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
