The Neukom Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, brought internationally renowned animator Robert Vaindiner to Dartmouth for a two-day MAYA Special Effects and Dynamics Workshop. Vaindiner is a Los Angeles-based digital artist with more than 15 years of international experience creating 3D animation and computer-generated visual effects for feature films, television, and commercial advertisement. Movie credits include “Alien vs Predator2,” “Nim’s Island,” “There be Dragons,” and “Cabin in the Woods.” Commercial credits include Battery energy dink, Sony PS3, Mattel, Waterpic, Sketchers, Yahoo, Comcast and Burger King.
